Oil rebounds from 16-week lows on Russian sanctions
Oil prices rose Thursday, ending a three-day losing streak and rebounding from 16-week lows amid prospects of tighter sanctions on Russian crude. However, expectations of increased supply from an OPEC+ output boost next month limited gains. Brent crude rose 15 cents to $65.50, while US West Texas Intermediate climbed 14 cents to $61.92 a barrel.
