Omega-3 fatty acids may protect women against Alzheimer’s: Study
Omega-3 fatty acids may help protect women from Alzheimer’s disease, according to a study published in the Alzheimer's & Dementia Journal. Researchers analysed the levels of lipids in over 800 people with Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive impairment, and healthy controls. The study found that lipids with attached omega fatty acids were the most decreased in women with Alzheimer’s disease.
