Omega-3 may help protect against short-sightedness in kids: Study
A diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, predominantly found in fish oils, may help protect against the development of short-sightedness (myopia) in children, according to a study published in British Journal of Ophthalmology. Researchers found a diet high in saturated fats, found in foods such as butter, palm oil, and red meat, may increase risk of developing short-sightedness in kids.
