ChatGPT maker OpenAI's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mira Murati has announced she has made the "difficult decision" to leave the company after six-and-a-half years. "I am stepping away as I want to create the time and space to do my own exploration," she said in a note to OpenAI team. She also thanked OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in her note.
