OpenAI denies claims that ChatGPT is to blame for teen's suicide
After a family sued OpenAI in US' San Francisco, alleging their 16-year-old son, Adam Raine, used ChatGPT as his "suicide coach", the company responded, saying it isn't liable for his death. OpenAI argued that the boy misused ChatGPT, adding that the chatbot urged the teenager to seek help more than 100 times. The firm further called his death "devastating".
