Opp'n mulling joint candidate for VP poll after Dhankhar's exit
With Jagdeep Dhankhar resigning as Vice President, the I.N.D.I.A. bloc is likely to contest vice presidential elections after a joint decision on common candidate, reports said. It added that many opposition leaders believe contesting will send strong political message, even if they lose. To win the post, candidate needs at least 392 out of 782 votes from both Houses combined.
