Ozempic, Wegovy may make food taste sweeter, saltier: Study
Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, popular weight-loss drugs, may change how food tastes, making meals seem sweeter or saltier. A study of 411 adults published in the journal 'Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism' found 21% noticed sweeter food, 23% saltier. These taste shifts may help reduce appetite and cravings but don't directly cause weight loss. Researchers aim to study this further.
