Pak Army chief Munir begged Sri Lanka team to stay as they were scared after Islamabad blast
Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir begged Sri Lanka's cricket team to stay back for the ongoing tour after the team got scared following the Islamabad car blast. The cricketers were reluctant to continue playing as "they had many concerns", Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said. Pakistan has now deployed the army, rangers and Islamabad police together to manage the players' security.
