Pak dams near 'dead levels' as water flow drops up to 88% after India's treaty suspension
Pakistani data showed multiple dams, providing water to the country's Indus basin using water from rivers under Indus Waters Treaty, have reached 'dead levels'. Below dead level, there are no outlets to drain water in the reservoir. Moreover, data showed dams' water release has also dropped 15% over last year, with Chenab's discharge in Sialkot's Marala dropping up to 88.5%.
