Pak likely to hand over Islamabad Airport operations to UAE firm
Pakistan is reportedly set to hand over operations of Islamabad International Airport to a UAE firm via a government-to-government deal, rejecting a UK-Turkish consortium’s bid. The UAE offered a 60% revenue share, compared to 40% from competitors. This move is part of reforms tied to International Monetary Fund (IMF) demands, and Pakistan expects a $1.2 billion IMF loan by December.
