Pak signs $1.5 bn deal to sell lethal combat arms to Sudan's junta
Pakistan has signed a $1.5-billion deal to sell lethal combat weapons to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), an internationally sanctioned military junta. The deal was sealed during a visit by Sudan's air force chief to Islamabad and is believed to be financed by a third country. It is aimed to boost Sudan's military capabilities amid ongoing civil war.
