Pakistan to cancel 2.5 lakh Afghans' IDs amid tensions: Report
Pakistani authorities will be cancelling at least 2.5 lakh Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs), allegedly issued to Afghan nationals, according to Pakistani intelligence sources cited by CNN-News18. The reported "large network" involved fake CNICs made with coloured printers and software. These were then issued to Afghans through fake documents and heavy bribes, stated the report.
