Paresh Rawal claims lobbying exists in National Awards, says 'Happens in Oscars too'
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, during Raj Shamani's podcast, claimed that lobbying for awards happen at National Film Awards. Paresh further noted that lobbying isn't limited to India, mentioning, "Lobbying to Oscar Awards mein bhi hoti hai (Lobbying happens at Oscar awards too)." He said the academy jury gets "whipped up" by giving them gifts and invitations to parties.
