Patidar leads Central to first Duleep Trophy title after 11 years
Rajat Patidar-led Central Zone beat South Zone by six wickets in the final of the 2025 Duleep Trophy. Patidar captained Central Zone to their sixth title and their first in 11 years. The last one came under Piyush Chawla's captaincy in the 2014/15 season when they beat the South Zone by nine runs while defending a fourth-innings target of 301.
