Peanuts improve blood flow to brain, boost memory by 5.8%: Study
Eating around 60 gram of unsalted, skin-roasted peanuts every day for four months can help the brain work better, a study by the Maastricht University Medical Centre found. After a 16-week trial, the participants' blood flow to the brain increased by 3.6% and their verbal memory improved by 5.8%. The researchers also found that their blood pressure decreased.
