Pigment found in henna plant may reverse liver fibrosis: Study
Researchers have found that Lawsone, a chemical compound derived from Lawsonia inermis (commonly known as the henna tree), may help treat and reverse liver fibrosis, according to a study published in the journal Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy. During experiments on mice, researchers observed significant reductions in markers of liver fibrosis after administering Lawsone.
