PIL filed in SC to deregister Congress for 'vote-theft' campaign
A public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking de-registration of the Indian National Congress as a political party for its 'vote-chori' (vote-theft) campaign. The petitioner also sought to restrain the Congress party and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge from making any public statements undermining the authority of the Election Commission.
