Pilot aborted landing just 30-40ft above ground: Congress MP on flight's emergency landing
Congress MP KC Venugopal wrote to Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, alleging "serious safety lapses" on the Trivandrum-Delhi Air India flight that he was on. He said it made emergency landing in Chennai, as weather radar failed. He alleged the pilot "suddenly aborted" landing and executed a "steep climb", only 30-40ft above ground, due to another plane on the runway.
