Police in J&K’s Anantnag ask residents not to use banned VPNs
Police in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir have asked people not to use Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). The police stated that VPNs make sensitive information vulnerable to cyberattacks, which can be misused for unlawful and anti-national activities. All VPNs were banned in the district for two months starting May 7, in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.
