Police use pepper spray to clear pro-Palestinian camp at US university
Police entered George Washington University in US' Washington DC to clear a two-week-old pro-Palestinian tent encampment. Videos showed protesters covering their eyes as officers in riot gear used pepper spray on them. A Palestinian student, whose parents are in Gaza, said, "I was pepper sprayed and assaulted by police...Why? Because we decided to pitch some tents [and] hold community activities."
