Postpone int'l travel: US university to staff who hold H-1B visas
The University of Southern California has advised staff and faculty who hold H-1B visas to postpone international travel due to a new $100,000 fee for new visa petitions introduced by President Donald Trump. The rule is set to remain in effect for 12 months, unless extended. Existing H‑1B holders, as well as renewals and amendments, are exempt from the fee.
