Prada releases 'antiqued leather pumps' similar to Punjabi juttis after row over Kolhapuris
Luxury fashion brand Prada has released a new footwear, which reportedly looks similar to Punjabi juttis, and described as "antiqued leather pumps". This comes after Prada was criticised for launching Kolhapuri chappal-like sandals without crediting Indian artisans. Prada had said the sandals were "inspired by traditional Indian footwear made in specific districts in Maharashtra and Karnataka".
