Prevent dying of starvation: Obama on food crisis in war-torn Gaza
Ex-US President Barack Obama has reacted to the Israel-Hamas war for the first time and sought "immediate action". "[There is] immediate need for action...to prevent the travesty of...people dying of preventable starvation," Obama said. The Israeli military said it would begin a "tactical pause" in Gaza City, Deir al-Balah and Muwasi to increase the scale of aid entering Gaza.
