Protests over his son's luxurious lifestyle force Mongolia's PM to resign
Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene has resigned after protests occurred in the country over his son's luxurious lifestyle and lavish spending. Protesters said Erdene's son's lifestyle, replete with designer handbags and helicopter rides, is in sharp contrast to poverty in the country. "It was an honour to serve my country," Erdene said after losing the confidence vote on Monday.
