Pune Metro to get 12 new trains at ₹430 crore expense
Pune Metro has ordered 12 new train sets from Titagarh Rail Systems for its upcoming PCMC-Nigdi and Swargate-Katraj extensions. Costing ₹430.53 crore, the trains will be made under Make in India and delivered over 30 months. With this, Pune Metro fleet will grow to 46 trains, ensuring timely service commencement once route construction is complete.
