Puri says 'Tharoor invited Soros for dinner'; latter responds
Amid the political controversy surrounding US billionaire George Soros, Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri claimed that Congress MP Shashi Tharoor invited Soros to dinner in the US in 2009. Responding to it, Tharoor said, "Our recollections differ...All I remember hearing from him at that occasion was his strong objection to our Government’s stand on the West’s responsibility for global warming!"
