Purushottam Kabali: India's first pilot even before JRD Tata
Long before JRD Tata made headlines, Purushottam Meghji Kabali became the first Indian-origin man with a flying permit. In 1930, he set off in his Spartan aircraft "Feather of the Dawn", blessed by Sarojini Naidu, on a daring journey from England to India. Though fate cut it short in Libya, Kabali's aviation legacy remains unmatched.
