Pyramids may have been built along lost Nile port: Study
A new study suggests Egypt’s pyramids may have been built along a now-vanished Nile branch, used as a port to transport massive stones. Researcher Dr Eman Ghoneim identified the 'Ahramat Branch' near 38 pyramid sites, including Giza. The findings hint the structures weren’t just tombs but part of a once-bustling waterway network, reshaping pyramid construction theories.
