He reached the milestone in his 158th innings during South Africa's third ODI against Pakistan and surpassed New Zealand's Kane Williamson who'd achieved the feat in 159 innings. Ex-South Africa all-rounder Hashim Amla tops the list, having completed 7,000 ODI runs in 150 innings.
