Security researchers at Palo Alto Networks discovered a new Android spyware dubbed 'Landfall' that attacked Samsung Galaxy devices for nearly a year. The malicious software was crafted as an image and sent to the phones through a messaging app, and it didn't require any interaction from the victims. It was detected in July 2024 and was patched in April 2025.
