Residents stage 'makaan wapas lo' protest in society over sale of flat to Muslim doctor in UP
Residents of a housing society staged a 'makaan wapas lo (take your house back)' protest in UP's Moradabad after a doctor, Ashok Bajaj, sold his house to Muslim doctor Ikra Chaudhary. "This is a Hindu society, where over 400 Hindu families live," said a resident. "We fear there'll be a disturbance in the demographic structure of the society," said another.
