Rlys flags off industrial salt-loaded rake to help freight growth
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday announced that Indian Railways has flagged off its first industrial salt-loaded rake from Sanosara (Bhuj-Naliya section) to Dahej in Gujarat. Sharing a post on X, he said this "logistic solution" will open "new avenues" for the region's salt industry and boost freight growth. The train is carrying 3,851.2 tonnes of salt, officials said.
