Rupee may stay weak this year, but 2026 will be better: Economist
ANZ Research's Group Chief Economist Richard Yetsenga believes the Indian rupee will remain weak in 2025. However, he believes the currency will perform much better in 2026. India’s economy could remain one of the fastest-growing in the world as foreign investors return and inflation pressures ease globally, he added. Notably, Indian rupee has fallen past the 90-mark against US dollar.
