Russia-born Anastasia Potapova switches nationality to Austrian
World number 51 tennis player Anastasia Potapova, who was born in Russia's Saratov in 2001, has switched allegiance to Austria, the 24-year-old announced on social media. With the nationality switch, Potapova becomes Austria's highest-ranked women's player, ahead of world number 94 Julia Grabher. She is now cleared to compete in the Billie Jean King Cup, from which Russia remains banned.
