OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has left the startup's Safety and Security Committee amid concerns that his presence could prevent the body from working objectively. In a blog post, OpenAI said the committee will become "an independent Board oversight committee". Quora CEO Adam D’Angelo and Sony's ex-EVP Nicole Seligman will continue to remain on the committee.
