Actress Kajol revealed her mother Tanuja Mukherjee's struggle while working repulsed her from acting. She recalled, "She worked 24/7 and wasn't paid even half as much as she should have. It wasn't stable...source of income." She added, "I remember thinking, 'I never want to work that hard.' That was main factor that made me not want to be in films."
