Saw on news that the person I ran over was Fauja Singh: NRI arrested in hit-and-run case
Amritpal Singh Dhillon, a 26-year-old NRI who was driving the Fortuner that hit and killed legendary marathon runner Fauja Singh, told police he saw on news that the person he ran over was Fauja Singh. Amritpal was arrested late on Tuesday night. The police said he got scared after hitting Fauja and didn't stop car at the spot.
