Scientists create glow-in-the-dark house plants, pic released
Scientists in China have created glow-in-the-dark succulents by injecting them with light-emitting compounds. The scientists used phosphor particles- made of strontium and aluminium dosed with other metals- which absorb sunlight or LED light and then release it slowly. One material the scientists injected, for example, absorbs ultraviolet and blue light and re-emits it as green light.
