Scientists demonstrate 'magic state' quantum computing for 1st time
Scientists demonstrated logical magic state distillation on a neutral-atom quantum computer for the first time, achieving a breakthrough in quantum computing, according to a study published in Nature. Notably, magic state distillation was first proposed 20 years ago. Dr Sergio Cantu, one of the authors of the study, called this "a key step toward scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing"
