Scientists propose detector to catch spacetime’s faintest music
Scientists have proposed Laser Interferometer Lunar Antenna or LILA, gravitational-wave detector designed to capture faintest music of spacetime. Situated on Moon, LILA would have unique chance to explore a frequency band largely untouched by Earth-based or space borne instruments. Scientists suggest it could unveil new insights into merging black holes and other exotic astrophysical events.
