SEBI proposes relaxing minimum public offer size for large firms
SEBI proposed reducing minimum public offer requirements for large companies from mandated 5% to 2.5% of their paid-up share capital, if market capitalisation is above ₹5 trillion after listing. This proposal aims at making Indian listings feasible for large issuers, said SEBI. Further, it withdrew proposal reducing retail quota in IPOs from 35% to 25% for IPOs exceeding ₹5,000 crore.
