Benchmark index Sensex dipped nearly 4,100 points this week, ending today's trade 1.5% lower at just over 78,000. Sensex had closed at 82,133 on Friday, December 13 and has closed in red for five consecutive sessions since then. The index has recorded a decline of nearly 1,800 points so far this month, rising in seven and falling in eight sessions.
