Silicon Durga idol highlights Maha Kumbh theme in West Bengal
Durga Puja festivities in West Bengal began with grandeur, featuring unique themes across pandals. In North 24 Parganas, Agarpara Tarapukur Adi Sarvajanin Committee showcased 'Maha Kumbh' as its 2025 theme. The highlight is a silicon idol of Goddess Durga in meditative Yogini form. Organisers said the theme reflects India's rich cultural and religious heritage linked to the sacred Kumbh Mela.
