Sinwar refused Arab offer to escape Gaza post Oct 7 attack: Report
Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by Israel, had rejected an offer to leave Gaza in exchange for allowing Egypt to negotiate a ceasefire-hostage deal in Hamas' place, WSJ reported. "I'm not under siege, I'm on Palestinian soil," Sinwar reportedly told Arab mediators after the October 7 attack, Jerusalem Post reported. Sinwar was the mastermind behind the attack.
