Son demands chicken, mother beats him to death with rolling pin
A 7-year-old boy, Chinmay Ghumde, was allegedly beaten to death by his mother in Palghar, Maharashtra, for demanding a chicken dish. His 10-year-old sister was also injured in the assault. The mother, Pallavi Ghumde, used a rolling pin in the attack. She has been arrested and a murder case has been registered.
