SpiceJet shares jump 9% amid mass IndiGo flight cancellations
SpiceJet shares surged around 9% intraday to hit a high of ₹33 on the BSE on Friday. This comes after rival IndiGo cancelled hundreds of flights across the country, reportedly due to crew shortages and a technical glitch. Meanwhile, the stock price of InterGlobe Aviation, IndiGo's parent company, was trading at ₹5,288.85 per share, down ₹148.75 as of 12:50 PM.
