Spouse can sue partner's lover for damages for interfering with marriage: HC
Delhi High Court has held that a civil suit filed by a spouse seeking damages from their partner's lover for intentionally interfering with their marriage is maintainable. The court was hearing wife's suit, reportedly seeking ₹4 crore in damages from her husband's alleged lover. The wife's counsel argued that she was "entitled to her husband's affection...which [was] deliberately taken away".
