Stadium named after WC winner Richa to be built in WB's Siliguri
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that a stadium will be built in Siliguri, named after World Cup winner Richa Ghosh. Siliguri is the hometown of the 22-year-old wicketkeeper-batter, who scored 34(24) in the final against South Africa. "The 'Richa Cricket Stadium' will be built on a 27-acre plot at the Chandmani Tea Estate," Mamata said.
