Stop nonsense of letting people come to US on free visas: Lutnick
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick supported President Donald Trump's $100,000 H-1B visa fee, stating companies must decide if a worker is valuable enough to justify cost or hire Americans instead. "Stop this nonsense of letting people come to America on visas that were given away for free," Lutnick said. The H-1B programme permitted over 65,000 visas each year, Guardian reported.
