Strange changes found in blood of long COVID-19 patients: Study
According to a study published in Journal of Medical Virology, scientists have discovered strange clots and immune system changes in the blood of long COVID-19 patients. The study found that long COVID-19 patients show significantly higher levels of microclots, abnormal clumps of blood-clotting proteins, as well as increased formation of structures called neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs).
